Then I heard Pandit ji's voice from behind us.

Shitt!!

Vyansh's POV~

Today is Sunday and a holiday too. I was sitting in my room and working on my laptop. Suddenly my phone rings, I picked it up from the table and saw that it was none other than Prabhat.

Prabhat Choudhury, He works as a Manager for me in my company.

My childhood friend, he knows everything about me, he has supported me in my happiness and sorrow.

I took the call and as soon as I said hello, he said," hello Vyansh there was one thing."

"speak" I said without any interest.

"Tu manega na" he asks me.

(Will you accept it?)

"Nahi" I said.

(No)

"Tereko manna padega" He said insistently.

(You have to agree)

I stared at the phone. Is she my girlfriend that I listen to him?

"bhonk" I said as I closed my laptop.

(Bark)

"Arre wo humne plan banaya tha ki hum sab mele me jayenge ghumne" He said in excitement.

(Hey, we had planned that we would all go to the fair to roam around and enjoy)

"Toh me kya karu" I asked, getting irritated.

(So what should i do?)

"Toh kya karu kya chal tu bhi tere liye hi toh banaya hai plan" He said shouting from there.

(So what should I do what, come on, we have made a plan for you only)

"Nahi" I closed my eyes and placed my head on the back pillow.

(No)

"Kyuu kya dikkat hai" He asks irritatedly.

(why? What's the problem?)

"Tu hi hai sabse badi dikkat"I whispered so only I could hear.

(The biggest problem is you)

"Kya bola tune?" He asks confused.

(what did you say?)

Stupid!!!

"Kuchh nahi"I said.

(Nothing)

"Tu aa raha hai ya nahi?" He asked

(Are you coming or not?)

"Nahi" I said calmly.

(No)

"Tu aayega Sham 6 baje ready rehna" He said and hung up without listening to me.

(You will come, be ready at 6 pm)

I stared at the phone angrily. How dare he!!

He disconnected the call without listening to me.

Then a thought comes to my mind and a smile appears on my lips. I know why they are doing all this, so that I can smile and live my life like before. But now nothing is the same as before. Everything has changed.

I am busy with office work all day or should I say I keep myself busy. When I come home no one asks me if I ate or not, how was my day, Am I right or not, no one even waits for me to eat. Well, leave it, it doesn't matter now. I have become used to it now.

So I left that house and got my own house. Well I don't get time to decorate this house, so I dropped this idea.

I kept the laptop aside and got up from the sofa. I looked at the time, it was 4 o'clock, so there are still 2 hours left.

I thought of taking a cold shower. I went to the bathroom and took off all my clothes and stood under the shower.

I closed my eyes. As soon as I closed my eyes, I started remembering all the old things. I quickly opened my eyes.

I don't want to remember all those things, I took a shower and came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist.

I looked at the time again, it was 5:20.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I picked up the hair dryer and started drying my hair. After drying, I went into the closet and put on my clothes.

I wore a white shirt and dark blue jeans. I came back and stood in front of the mirror and started setting my hair then I picked up the watch from the table and wore it.

Just then my phone rang, I looked at the caller ID and it was Yash calling me.

I received the call and said, "Yes, tell me."

"No hi no hello?" Yash said while pretending to be angry.

I hummed.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

I again hummed.

"Okay we are coming to pickup" He said and I disconnected the call without without saying anything.

There were still 10 minutes left before 6 o'clock.

I pick up my wallet and leave the room. I was coming down the stairs Just then the doorbell rings.

I go straight through the hall towards the main door.

I open the door and see Prabhat, Yash Rajvansh and Arsh Roy standing at the door. Everybody looks at me and shows me all their teeth. I looked at them weirdly.

'Stupid!!'

"Bhai aap kitne handsome dikh rahe ho, kisko marne ka irada hai aapka?" Arsh tells me this by raising one of his eyebrows and giving me a teasing smile.

(Brother you are looking very handsome, who do you intend to kill?)

I gave him a cold look and said," Bakwas band karo apni or chalo tumhe ghumna hai na mela?"

(Stop talking nonsense and move on, you want to visit the fair, right?)

Without listening to him, I started walking towards the black car parked in front of me.

As soon as I went in front of that car, the bodyguard came and opened the back door for me, I sat down and the bodyguard closed the door.

Just then Prabhat came running and opened the door and sat with me. Arsh and Yash followed him. They took the keys from the driver and removed the driver and Yash himself sat on the driving seat.

I stared at them and asked," where is your car?"

Arsh laughs nervously and says,"Are bhai jab aapki car me bethne ka mauka mil raha hai to kyu chhode"

(Hey brother when we are getting a chance to sit in your car then why miss it?)

I stare at him again. I didn't say anything and started looking out the window. Everyone is so happy, why not, after all they have the things and people that make them happy. Prabhat's voice breaks my thoughts,

I look at him and raise my eyebrows, signaling him to speak back.

"Wo me bol raha tha ki kya hum music on kar sakte hai?"

(I was asking if we could turn on the music?)

I just hummed. I turned my focus back to the window.

No doubt it was a good song.

While doing this we reached the fair, we got out of the car and stood outside. I had asked the bodyguard to come. There was a huge crowd. Some were roaming with their family, some with their gf or bf and some with friends.

We also started roaming around. Yash, Arsh and Prabhat were all trying to make me enjoy. One hour passes like this.

Yash Raj and Prabhat were fighting to get on the ride, I was standing quietly watching them. What kids did I get stuck among!!!

"Kya lad rahe ho kabse? ride to ride hoti hai, jisme jana hai jao" I said to them angrily.

(Since when have you been fighting? A ride is a ride, go where you want to go)

"Yahi teri biwi hoti na to tu samjhta"Prabhat speaks to me angrily.

(If this was your wife then you would have understood)

To tu meri biwi hai?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

(So are you my wife?)

"Nahi" He said.

(No)

"Toh?" I asked him.

(So?)

Yash interrupts and says,"Aree bas ab tum dono mat ladne lag jao"

(Hey, don't you two start fighting now)

Suddenly my eyes go to an earring shop. I look at my friends standing in front of me who have started again. I shook my head and said, "I have to make an important call, I'll be back."

They nod. I don't go to that earring shop but go to the other side. I stand in a low noise place and look at my friends whose attention is on their own conversations instead of me. I took a sigh of relief. I started walking towards the shop selling earrings. I stood there but my eyes went not on the earrings but on the anklets kept there. They were such beautiful anklets.

I took it and gave the money to the shopkeeper. I look at my hand and said to myself, "Jis ladki se mujhe mohabbat hogi usi ladki ko ye payal me khud apne hatho se uske khubsurat pairo me pehnaunga"

(The girl I love, I will wear this anklet on her beautiful feet with my own hands.)

I close my eyes and a thought comes to my mind and a painful smile comes on my lips. I open my eyes and then look at my hands and say,"

Huhh what am I saying, which girl will want to love me after knowing my truth. She will start hating me and will leave me herself.

Will there be anyone who will love only me.

Will there be anyone who will love only me?

Who will have only my name in their heart?

There won't be anyone huhh..."

Then I get a strange feeling of a strange smell. I paused. That smell was so sweet.... I closed my eyes.

A gentle aura of vanilla enveloped me. Sweet and comforting. It's like adding an air of softness and warmth. I took a breath, letting the vanilla aroma fill my senses. It wrapped around me like an invisible blanket, making my heart beat just a little faster.

The vanilla scent acting as an unspoken invitation. It was a fragrance that spoke of warmth and kindness, a stark contrast to the cold emptiness I had grown accustomed to.

The more I inhaled, the more I felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if her vanilla essence was awakening a part of me that had been dormant for too long. It was a scent that promised comfort and perhaps, a chance at new beginnings.

I opened my eyes to find the owner of that sweet fragrance. I looked around. I turned back and saw a girl in a pink suit.

I murmured under the breath,

"Fuck... So beautiful"
